Arib al-Ma'muniyya
ʿArīb al-Ma’mūnīya (Arabic: عريب المأمونية, b. 181/797–98, d. 277/890–91) was a qayna (slave trained in the arts of entertainment) of the early Abbasid period, who has been characterised as 'the most famous slave singer to have ever resided at the Baghdad court'. She lived to the age of 96, and her career spanned the courts of five caliphs.

Abū Mūsā Muḥammad bin Hārūn al-Amīn (Arabic: أبو موسى محمد بن هارون الأمين; April 787 – 24/25 September 813), better known by just his laqab of al-Amīn (Arabic: الأمين, lit. 'the Trustworthy'), was the sixth Abbasid caliph from 809 to 813.
Al-Amin succeeded his father, Harun al-Rashid, in 809 and ruled until he was deposed and killed in 813, during the civil war by his half-brother, al-Ma'mun.

Al-Mamun, herskernavn for Abu al-Abbas Abd Allah al-Mamun ibn ar-Rashid (arabisk: أبو العباس عبد الله المأمون بن هارون الرشيد; født 13. september 786 i Bagdad, død 9. august 833 i al-Budandūn) var den syvende abbasidiske kalif. Han regjerte fra 813 til 833. Under ham oppnådde abassidenes kalifat sitt kulturelle høydepunkt.
