Taylor Daniel Lautner ( LOWT-nər; born February 11, 1992) is an American actor. He is best known for playing werewolf Jacob Black in The Twilight Saga film series (2008–2012). His accolades include a Scream Award, seven Teen Choice Awards, two People's Choice Award, and an MTV Movie Award.

Born in Michigan, Lautner began practising karate and martial arts at the age of six. He became a black belt at the age of 10, and by the age of 14, he was a four-time world champion. She also appears as Lieutenant Connix in the Star Wars sequel trilogy (2015–2019). Lourd is the only child of actress Carrie Fisher.
